Biography

Qiumei Tian, MD, was inspired by through-tenon joints and applied mortise-and-tenon structures to the construction of the nasal radix, nasal septum, and nasal columella. This provides a firm, load-distributing bearing surface, effectively preventing displacement and deformation and creating a natural yet stable contour. The smaller dissection area causes less trauma to the nose and facilitates postoperative recovery.
